What is Early Payouts?

Early Payouts is a RevenueCat feature that lets you access your App Store and Play Store proceeds when you want to rather than waiting up to 2 months for the standard app store payouts cycle. We purchase up to 80% of your daily proceeds and accelerate the payout to you. The remaining 20% is sent on the app stores' regular schedule.

Who is eligible for Early Payouts?

Early Payouts is currently in closed beta and available to a limited set of customers. Eligibility requires that your app generates revenue through the Apple App Store and/or the Google Play Store, that your RevenueCat account is in good standing, and that you have a US-entity. If you are interested, submit the form and we will reach out when a spot becomes available should you qualify.

Am I eligible for daily payouts or biweekly payouts?

If you're an eligible developer with more than $5,000 in monthly tracked revenue (MTR), you can access daily payouts and receive up to 80% of your earned proceeds next business day, straight to your bank via ACH. If you earn less than $5,000 MTR, you can access Early Payouts on a biweekly schedule to receive up to 80% of your earned proceeds every other Monday. When you exceed $5,000 MTR, you can switch to a daily payout frequency if you want. T&Cs and eligibility requirements apply.

How often will I receive biweekly payouts?

Biweekly payouts are paid every other Monday, giving you regular access to earned app store proceeds ahead of the stores' usual payment schedule. Pause anytime.

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

We charge a flat 2.5% fee on the proceeds we purchase each day. There are no hidden fees, no setup costs, and no fees on the 20% of proceeds that are paid out on the regular app store schedule. You only pay for what you use.

How does the payout schedule work on weekends and holidays?

Payouts are processed next business day (PST). Payouts on weekends and bank holidays are deposited the following business day.

Can I pause or turn off Early Payouts?

Yes. You can pause or disable Early Payouts at any time from your RevenueCat dashboard. There is no mandatory utilization requirement — you are in full control of when and how you use the feature.

How long does it take to get set up?

Once you are invited to apply, the onboarding process is fast. You will complete a short verification process and, upon approval, can begin receiving payouts. We will guide you through every step.

Does RevenueCat hold my money?

RevenueCat is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Core Bank, Member FDIC. Deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, subject to limitations.
